DBacks bring in the bullpen and insert Brandon Pfaadt in the sixth
With two outs in the sixth inning on Thursday, Diamondbacks manager Torey Lovullo decided to end right-hander Brandon Pfaadt's outstanding performance against the Philadelphia Phillies in Game 3 of the NLCS.
Pfaadt had just completed two innings against the Phillies' starting lineup. Instead of letting him face them a third time, he chose left-hander Andrew Saalfrank and paired him with Kyle Schwarber of the Philadelphia Phillies.
The Chase Field crowd first booed the decision, but as Pfaadt left the mound, they rose to their feet in applause.

The Diamondbacks' terrible offensive from the first two games of the NLCS has been carried
over. They are knotted, 0-0, after five innings despite Brandon Pfaadt pitching a gem.
