Biden claims that his journey to Tel Aviv was a gamble. He has another crucial situation tonight

President Biden made an incredibly uncommon appearance in the press cabin at the back of Air Force One 24 hours into a tumultuous trip to the Middle East.

After leaving Tel Aviv, he changed out of his black suit and into a light blue casual sweater and started working the phones. He had urgent news that needed to be shared before he returned to Washington.

"Look: I came to get something done — I got it done," remarked Biden, referring to a "very blunt negotiation" he had just had with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi

One of his main objectives for his risky journey was to deliver aid to Gaza; nevertheless, his team had disputed whether he should even make the trip, he confesse

"Not many people believed I could complete this. And few individuals want to be linked to failure," he continued

The failure to provide any humanitarian relief, according to Biden, would have had a negative impact on his presidency.

The White House announced that Biden would follow up the trip with a second high-stakes moment: a Thursday night prime-time address from the Oval Office, as the plane hurtled back into Washington.

A failure in American leadership, according to Vice President Joe Biden, is not an option in Israel, the Ukraine, or possibly Taiwan. He will try to convince Americans — and Congress — that spending billions more on these countries is necessar

Biden's attention may be diverted from other foreign concerns by the Middle East.

Since taking office, Biden has worked to forge and fortify foreign alliances, whether it be to back Ukraine in its struggle to protect itself against Russia or to stave off China's hegemony in the Indo-Pacific.

He hoped to improve ties between Israel and many Arab nations, notably Saudi Arabia, in the Middle East. The Middle East may take Biden's focus away from other international issues.

Since taking office, Biden has tried to establish and strengthen international alliances, whether it be to support Ukraine in its fight to defend itself against Russia or to thwart China's hegemony in the Indo-Pacific.

He wanted to strengthen connections between Saudi Arabia and various Middle Eastern Arab countries, particularly Israel. But when catastrophic Hamas attacks on October 7 left more than 1,300 Israelis dead, it became disorganized. Israel has pledged to drive the terrorist group out of Gaza, where Palestinians have battled to procure basic necessities, in advance of what may be a severe military attack

An explosion that killed many people at a hospital in Gaza only hours before Biden's flight there incited rage against Israel and the United States throughout the Middle East. Palestinian people were slain in their hundreds.

A White House representative didn't inform reporters that the Amman stop was incorrect until Air Force One had already started to taxi.

The explosion was attributed to Israel by the Palestinians, while Israel vehemently denied responsibility. Biden instructed his team to learn more.

Netanyahu receives a hearty hug

Protests had already started to spread throughout the Arab world by the time Biden arrived in Tel Aviv. The customary ceremony and red carpet were absent. It was a wartime period.
